Acceptable Use Policy

Within the constraints listed below NTSNet will not seek to control the content of its clients Web Sites. However, certain types of content are considered unacceptable on NTSNet. NTSNet cannot allow any of the following content to be stored on its web or ftp space:

Illegal Material - This includes copyrighted works, commercial audio, video, or music files published without the written consent of the copyright holder. The client will be responsible for the content of the site, including obtaining the legal permission for any works included and ensuring that the contents of the pages do not violate English law. The client will be held responsible for and must accept responsibility for any defamatory, confidential, secret or other proprietary material available via the site.

Adult Material - Includes all pornography, erotic images, or otherwise lewd or obscene content. The designation of 'adult material' is left entirely to the discretion of NTSNet.

Hacking resources - Pirated software, ROMS, emulators, phreaking, hacking, password cracking. IP spoofing, etc., and encrypting of any of the above. Also includes any sites which provide 'links to' or 'how to' information about such material.

SPAM resources - Material which distributes or advertises any of the following: software for sending SPAM (bulk emails, excessive news postings,etc.), lists of email addresses except where all the addressees have given their explicit permission, any collection of personal data other than in accordance with the Data Protection Act and the Data Protection Principles.

If unacceptable material is brought to our attention the site will be suspended until the material has been removed.

BACKUPS OF WEB SITE DATA You will be responsible for retaining copies of your own data. NTSNet will not keep backups of your pages.

** Unlimited Use Policy It is our policy to provide essentially unlimited resources for our clients' web sites within the bounds of reason. In rare cases, NTSNet may find a customer to be using server resources to such an extent that he or she may jeopardize server performance and resources for other customers. In such instances, the client will be contacted with a view to moderating the demands. NTSNet reserves the right to renegotiate the terms of the rental with the client. If agreement cannot be reached NTSNet reserves the right to terminate the account giving one months notice.
