'Why should I pay for Web Space?'

...you might wonder, when our letter boxes are awash with CD-ROMs offering free Internet Access with free Web Space thrown in. It's all to do with the facilities available. You get what you pay for. Questions to consider when considering an ISP to host your business Web Site are:

Can I access my Web Space by ftp and alter my web pages at will?
Can I have as many email addresses as I need?
Can I use scripts to create customised responses to web based forms?
Do I get full statistics showing who has visited my site and when?
Do I really want my potential clients to email me at mycompamy@freebie.co.uk?
Can I use my own domain name on the web space?

In short: 'Is my Web space really suitable for business use?' In most cases the answers to these questions will be 'No'. That's where what is usually referred to as 'commercial web space' becomes relevant - and, like most things of value, will have to be paid for. Fortunately NTS Net can provide this commercial space at a very reasonable cost.

For example, for Ł99 per annum our SME Hosting-only package would give you unlimited space, unlimited email addresses plus .co.uk domain name registration, including Nominet fees, and access to all the facilties opposite. (To cover the higher basic costs there is a surcharge of Ł35 for .com registrations.)

Other facilities, such as Web statistics analysis, Control Panel access to email and password set up, Frontpage extensions, ASP and Cold Fusion are available at small extra charges.
Alternatively you might consider our Advanced User Package at Ł139 per annum which offers, in addition to the standard resources, Live Stats web site statistics and your own Control Panel to administer your domain.

For our Web Site Design and Web Site Maintenance clients, within the period of the contract, we provide as much web space as necessary, as many email addresses as necessary, a sub-domain within NTS Net or, if required, domain name registration (including Nominet fees) without extra charge.
